Well, I started playing and read through the OP again and I realized a couple of things :>
I saw that this pretty much states to be a remake of Grant Atlus, with all levels being put together in four sequences. It took me a little while to realize that this was happening. I'm not sure if you can save anywhere in-between if your game crashes or you have to quit whatsoever. If you're confused so much that you need to open the editor, you first have to open the hub level and then backtrack all the way by opening one level after the other. After beating a boss, the game ends instead of just taking you back to the hub (unnecessary ending sequences).
Thus far, I've only tried Radical Road, but my impression is that this concept is significantly worse compared to Grant Atlus. This level sequence was a somewhat incoherent potpourri, and you'd get impatient wondering how long it takes, and I assume that the other three paths are similar. However, in Grant Atlus the worlds follow a coherent theme each and sections of the world map are distinguishable, while keeping up the character of a maze at the same time. I rather recommend you to look for further improvements of Grant Atlus (I can assist you, but I think there won't be much to fix), and chances are to have it featured soon.
