The SMW coins look good with the tileset, as do the SMB1 NPCs.
Don't take this personally, but non of the GXFs blends well togehter.

As we just proved, different people have different opinions on what clash is and isn't The SMW enemies didn't blend well when I put them in that level, and their specific properties over SMB1/SMB3 enemies made me choose between those. I personally feel that SMW and SMB1 overworld blend well together, as long as you're using the right background/tileset.

Yup, I have a thing that makes me think most things aren't clash.

The SMB3/SMW clash is one of the reasons why SMW levels are getting quite rare. Even though there's no clash with all the enemies, BGs and tileset, the playable Mario and Luigi are SMB3 styled, so a lot of people go through the hassle of using SMW Mario/Luigi just to make it fit, when it doesn't really matter either way. It wouldn't work in an episode though as it makes it seem as though they've had a change of clothes, and then it would upset the idea of the playable not being consistent - they're not going to clash with the whole episode, it's just the odd one or two levels.

Plus the SMW Goombas/Koopas have totally different mechanics then the SMB3 ones.

You could easily just take the SMB3 Goomba and recolor it into SMW style. However no-one's made an SMW palette, as far as I'm aware, or an SMB1 or SMB2 palette in that regard.

All of those palettes have been made and they're all already compatible with Paint.NET; I even have them. You can request them in Help and Support (I would send them to you if I could but I'm unsure how unfortunately).

Yeah, I think that makes sense.

Yeah, I think that makes sense.
But really it doesn't matter if the player clashes or not because they're only in there to play the level, not to function as an obstacle. The player doesn't stay in the level forever, but all the obstacles do. That way, the clash is only temporary and not permanent as the player completes, or dies in the level.
