Ok, works in beta 5, no error, no crash, not even a warning. Good start.
What do like: The used sound effects - not annoying, and they make sense.
Also kind of interesting, how you did implement the jump (holding = jumping heigher and thus further).
The way you enter the cart is not a bad idea, but if somebody would like a DKC like level, it would be better if the player would be thrown into the cart just by the usual "touching". But do not remove the current style to enter the cart, rather keep it as an option for the level designer.

Here are the following siggestions
1. Minecart moves automatically, like in DKC games.
2. Crashing into solid stuff results in istant death explosion, same goes to enemy collision(optional).
3. Certain rails can trigger events, if minecart rides on them.
Speaking of options, there are so many settings missing, such as the speed (this could be like 1.00), the option of whether you can reverse and/or stop at all.
"Cart can be stopped: True/False"
"Cart can turn back: True/False"
Maybe the cart can only use certain blocks (by layer names?) and crashes otherwise?
