First of all, I know what few of you are about to say: "Lunar Chris, you already made The Fawful Crusade!" And yes, that is indeed true. HOWEVER, what you will find here is a remake of that episode, which will feature much more since I'm using SMBX2, hence why I (CLEARLY) got this idea. What makes this different from the original? Here's everything you need to know down below.

In the Celestial Realms, a war has broke out between the Celestial Empire and the Dawnbreakers Cult years after the Sacking of Merebane, homeworld of the Celestians. The Cult has since become hellbent on destroying the new Celestial Empire over the their most powerful relic, the Celestial Star, a relic shrouded in mystery that resulted in many civil wars over several generations. One day, the Celestial Council had found the Celestial Star under possession of the cult members, thus Arthemos took the matter into his hands and shattered the relic into six pieces to keep it out of the meddlers' hands. The rest of the pieces were scattered across various parts of Earth, few of which are now in Fawful's possession, who immediately takes advantage of its power to cause mayhem upon Toadstool Kingdom and take over Bowser's land. All of the chaos is blamed on Bowser, who is off to find his troop that is now scattered, and the King of Toadstool Kingdom has conducted an investigation to confirm the wrongdoing was committed by Bowser. Now, in a race against time, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad are off on a quest to find and stop an oncoming crusade that could lay waste to innocent lives in both Bowser's land and Toadstool Kingdom, only to meet up with the Celestial Council along the way to find the remaining pieces of the celestial star and restore order and peace to the world before Fawful's plan falls into place.
