Glad to hear it worked.
Beta 3 is the latest stable release for episodes. The next will be Beta 4. We're kinda in an inbetween state right now with releases.

I remember I needed to place Beta3 in C: on my old laptop to play MAGLX2. The downside of this was that all of the episodes and game stats in Beta 3 were lost when my PC died.

I refactored their code the other day. Should be fixed.

I activated "jumpman" in a previous Lunatester session and now it's still active. How do I get rid of it?

Okay that's trivial, thanks.
Is there a way to reset the score in lunatester? Under which circumstances does it reset?

I would like to ask friendly if someone can answer this question from me on 17 November:

I am still patiently waiting for the final version 2.0 of SMBX and I'm really looking forward to it.
I would like to ask friendly which different works have to be done for a software of this kind.
I am very interested in the answer to this question.
Thank you and friendly regards.

As for the first half, there isn't a planned final version for SMBX2. Development is ever-ongoing, similar to other game engines like Unity or Unreal.
Please word the question's second half like a regular human would and I might be able to understand what you mean by it and respond appropriately.

My question is: What different work must be done before a "final version of SMBX can be available for download".

So the final release of SMBX2 wont have the coin shop with wario, just so we are clear.

Correct. A shop system will instead be a general feature optionally accessible to all characters. Restricting it to one arbitrary character is limiting to every level and episode developer.

To both of you, I reiterate: Just like there is no final version of the Unity engine, there will not be a final version of the SMBX2 engine.
To the quoted post specifically: You can always check out the todo list on the current next major version on the progress sheet:

I seem to recall Beta 4 being a point where development takes a bit of a siesta short of bugfixes and minor stuffs, correct me if I read this incorrectly...
...over two years back...

Thank you Enjl for the todo list. That's very interesting for me.
With "final" version I meant the version of software "that is no longer a beta version". Example: 2.0 (without "Beta x").
It may be "that such a version is not generally so called".

I figure the shop could be called via LunaLUA. Have an NPC that says a line and triggers an event when spoken to. Said event does nothing on its own, but triggers a LUA script that opens the shop. Yea or nay?
