Interested in making a level for this but starving for ideas? Thinking of adding some little spark to whatever it is you're doing? Got some ideas but not enough to turn them into a level? Tadaah! Here's the spot.
Sometimes you just really gotta get some of that chlorophyll since you don't have enough in designing, or you wanna share some with someone else, so post pics of neat things you found here which you aren't planning on including in any of your own levels. Other people can comment on the ideas and use them if they were what they were looking for! The best timeline would be if someone could open up this thread and scroll through and just find inspiration en masse.
Rules:
1. Don't feel pressured about the novelty of your idea. It can be incredibly simple, it can be incredibly complex, doesn't matter!
2. Make sure people can tell how to replicate it. A gif is usually enough, but if you use odd NPC settings you might wanna add a paragraph.
3. Feel free to brainstorm with others to develop ideas you see even further! If you see an idea here and have some ideas for how to make it even BETTER but don't wanna make a level around it, post the ideas anyway, so maybe someone else will feel even more inspired to pick it up.
NOTE: Feeding powerups to a Baby Yoshi will make them instantly grow, contrary to regular NPCs. Powerups also cancel any eating effects the Baby Yoshi may have (e.g. Purple Baby Yoshi won't cause an earthquake when eating a powerup).
NOTE: The tail thing™ does NOT work with Ice Flowers, Poison Mushrooms, Items That Can Be Held, Super Leaves, SMB2 Mushrooms or 3-up Moons (it does the effect and sound but it doesn't change anything).
Here's some simple concept. The player can only move in the direction as the enemy NPCs. If they try to move in the other direction, they can't, because the key is blocked (unpressed immediately). This can be bypassed by spin jumping, so disabling spinjump will be useful to make players not being able to bypass this gimmick.

Super rad. Curious why it doesn't work on things like ice flowers...

Is this glitch wise to focus a level around? I do think it is neat however that we now have uses for this glitch outside of just killing enemies, but still.

What glitches do exist in the screen though.
Yoshi-Item-Cannon ~ Dismount a Yoshi while an item is on her tounge to make the item fly as if it was thrown.
How about this for a idea:
A fast paced idea that's like the Mega play arcade version of Sonic 1*! As former admin Pixelpest said it's possible to make this a reality, with heavy use of Lunalua that is!
*In case you guys didn't know what the Mega Play arcade version looks like, here's a video of it:

This gives me an idea for a Kaizo level by seeing this. I question the "Donot hurt me" part, but still interesting to attach a boo circle to a boom-boom. Though for normal levels, I would not recommend using more boos than three.
