Could you make a Media Fire link please?

Onedrive is a safe site, and all you have to do is click on the link and it should download automatically.
I'll re-upload it onto mediafire later today if it's really an issue.

After catching up with the thread, I have an opinion update about the clash. Of course it's fine if you also make the NPCs HD. Just be sure not to mix single and double pixels ;-)

I still think it's easier to exchange the GFX by double pixel versions though. People have been uploading tons of 16x NSMB GFX, you could just use that. It doesn't even really look worse IMO.

I'm impressed with this project. Keep working on it! :D Also, never mind the Media Fire link, I just downloaded it from Onedrive.

That Demo was great! I just completed it today. I wonder when a Demo for World 2 will be released?

I would recommend a new demo per world, that's the simplest way for everyone to keep track it

I recommend to not stress out over releasing a new playable demo every once in a while. Make one of a few sample levels when the game nears completion to stir up hype again (1-2 weeks before release), but take your time otherwise and focus on actually working on the game.

It's been a while, hasn't it? I appologise for not making any updates in recent times. With that said:

Nice screenshot. But be careful, if those are NSBM graphics, I would advise using EVERYTHING NSMB in that level, because according to the SMBX CGFX Pack, NSMB clashes with everything.

I was originally going to use NSMB graphics in the level, but i don't know if i should. I'll have to look for a SMW desert tileset to replace it.

yeah lets
follow a hastily written text file from 6 years ago
cause using our eyes to determine which graphics look good together is too much effort

That looks really nice. I suggest maybe opening it up a lot more and adding taller pokies.

Thanks for the feedback!
I replaced the pokeys with spinies. They suit the area more than cacti tbh.

Absolutely, spinies is a great idea and suits it well. Just don't forget to heighten that roof! :D

Ofcourse! The level is a puzzle level; hitting the switches makes the red pipes hide and show, you have to work out how to get to the yellow pipes using them.

Ohhh, that's a pretty cool idea. Maybe you could use lua to make an animation for the pipes? (Make them slowly recede into the ground?)
