Story: Bowser has stolen a star and hidden it and himself in a massive floating fortress. It is up to Mario/Luigi/Peach/Toad/Link to retrieve the star and put Bowser in his place. The rest of the story shall be left to the imagination of you, the viewer.

Review - Journey to the Castle

okay what's with the big waterfall
and why are there random sizable blocks coming out of the ground along with random smb3 hills
dear lord

well at least there's no clash. this level though, kinda boring, like everything looks the same
and then this
Image
that placement is absolutely WRETCHED. WHYYYY
i also like how you have pirahna plant and lakitu "boss" battles with no way to kill them. not everyone will have a fire flower, not everyone will happen to throw the koopa shell up at the right moment. and leaving the player stuck is by no means a way to make it difficutl. most of this level is actually unbeatable without cheating in the editor, when you fix this level i will gladly re-review it

Atmosphere: it was bland, to say the least. i appreciate that you tried to add multiple different areas but it was just so bland 5/10

Gameplay: gameplay was bland and the unbeatable areas sucked 2/10

NPC Placement: there were barely any, again very bland. 3/10

Graphics: bland. even just a simple palette change or recoloring would've done this better. 4/10

Overall Score: 3.5/10 bland, unbeatable. what more could you want?

The bombs the lakitu throws can actually be thrown back, so it isn't possible to get stuck there. However, seeing as you didn't know that, I'll have to add a message before the fight informing the players that the lakitu can be defeated by the bombs it throws. Sorry about that.
