I already know it. of what I speak is that the Physical a little different, also the patterns of the enemies, among other things are a little different between the versions

Yes I suggest using SMBX version 1.3.0.1 lol. Version 1.4 is the project version.

I would suggest removing the version 1.4 from the topic title though as it will cause confusion (even if it was an update to the episode) as to which SMBX you need to use.

I like the looks of this episode, but could you put it in Media Fire? I'm safer with Media Fire anyway, and having to download on Google makes me sort of nervous.

You're more likely to end up with something bad from MediaFire and either way very few file hosting websites can scan .zip files (if any). For reputable episodes like this you should be fine

Okay everyone I have an announcement. So I went ahead and put the game onto Mediafire like people were requesting, but that's not the reason why. I just received an email from Google themselves that they have found that Super Mario Land Returns v1.3 and v1.4 "infringe upon the copyrights of others". This is obviously referring to Nintendo.
They took down my projects today as a warning and stated that they have every right to completely ban my Google account if I upload more fangame projects onto there. I have two things to say about this:
1. F#%k you, Nintendo. Be more like Sega and lemme have fun. Why did Sonic Mania become so popular? (Although I'm working on an original project atm so I guess it doesn't matter)
2. I appreciate all of your support for this project. I feel proud to be noticed, especially being this young.
If I can, I'll try to be more active on this forum, as well as the Discord server possibly. And of course, have a happy new year, y'all~!

It isn't neccesarily Nintendo that took down the link, it could just be some troll pretending to be Nintendo. It has happened before, most notably with the 1.3.0.1 download. Also, Sonic Mania didn't just become popular because it was made by fans.

In the spoilers I have a screenshot of the email I recieved. It’s quite trustworthy, and considering Youtube videos can easily be taken down for copyrighted material.
Google Drive just wasn’t the choice because I was too prone to that happening if the game got too noticed.
And for Sonic Mania, that was my point. XD

Onedrive by Microsoft is better if you want to upload lots of files that don't need to be downloaded all together. I suggest using that, since it is more accessible and more widely used.
Plus it doesn't seem to be affected by legal issues like this.

Mediafire is working just fine right now, so I’ll just stick to that. I’ll hold on to that idea though in case I ever need to use it.
