Long ago, a mental institution opened its doors. It was dubbed “Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital for the criminally insane” and became known as one of the best mental institutions across the land. However, as time passed away, so did the staff. And with every generation of staff the good intentions slowly decayed and the mental hospital went downhill. The current director of Clearwater is an outright danger to the patients. He uses them to test experimental drugs not yet approved for human trials. The rest of Clearwater’s staff did all they could to make life better for the patients. But when four patients, all convicted serial killers, started killing people during the night, The staff was forced to execute patients in order to save their own life. Meanwhile, the director has gone completely insane. He is now determined to turn his mental asylum into a tomb...

Serial Killers:
-Sociopath: As a sufferer of Antisocial Personality disorder the Sociopath is highly manipulative. They cardflip blue when inspected but red upon death.
-Traumatized: A troubled individual suffering from immense trauma after year of abuse. Creative therapy helps them cope. He can paint a player red every night.
-Meatshield: A person who has lost all signs of advanced intelligence after one of the director's experiments went wrong. May protect one of his fellow patients twice throughout the game. If anyone attempts to kill this player, the meatshield dies instead and takes the attacker down with him.
-Insane Alter-Ego: A split-personality within a person suffering of Dissociative Identity Disorder. May roleblock someone every night. Since they are both technically the same human, the death of one alter ego automatically kills the other.

Staff:
-Psychiatrist: May inspect someone every night, learning their cardflip colour. They can inspect the same player twice in a row to learn their exact role.
-Medic: Responsible for the patients’ medication. Every night, they can either protect someone from death or give someone a lethal injection.
-Therapist: May put someone through therapy every night to roleblock them.
-Mortician: May inspect a player who passed away every night to learn their exact role.
-Caretaker: May visit a player each night. If someone attacks the player, the caretaker will die instead.
-Employee: Nothing special, can cast a lynch vote.

-Sane Alter-Ego: A split-personality within a person suffering of Dissociative Identity Disorder. Thinks they are a normal townsperson. Since they are both technically the same human, the death of one alter ego automatically kills the other.

Third Party.
-Director: The leader of Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital might be even more insane than all of his patients. The Director can kill someone every night using experimental drugs, they cannot be nightkilled. They may also choose to sacrifice their immunity for a second kill twice throughout the game. They cannot do this on night 1.

* The traumatized’s paintings last for one day/night cycle. For example, the night 1 painting influences day 1 and night 2.
* The Alter-Egos are both played by a different player and are not aware of each other’s identity.
* The Meatshield can't self-protect.
* The Psychiatrist's exact role-inspection ability reveals all roles, even self-unaware ones.
* The Medic can't self-protect.
* The Caretaker can't self-protect.

Even though I submitted a game with the same name to an earlier host signup (M38 I think it was), I would like this game to be judged not as a resubmission, but a new game. I completely remade it from scratch so it is essentially a completely different game than the one I submitted earlier.

I recommend you to observe the voting phase (which will last for like 4 days I think which means) because the player signups will start quite soon after the poll. You may also vote for the game(s) you find appealing in Round 1 and the game you like the most in R2.
However, be quick when the player signups are up, they usually last less than a day.

Or basically if they come up and you won't be able to be online until after like 5+ hours of the signups starting, then there is probably a better chance of ice forming on the surface of the Sun than you being able to take part.

IT ultimately depends on timezone and your IRL situations. If you are unable to access the internet during a player signups then hope that people don't want to play that game enough to completely fill up that game before you can come back on.

To improve your chances of getting into a game of Mafia: Subscribe to the forum (that way you know when the player signups are up and can go there immediately), don't sleep (the player signups may otherwise occur whne you do sleep), put as little in your post as possible (someone was nija'd because they out a lot of content in it), get a faster device (your post will go through faster and is more likely to successfully go through), get faster internet (Same reason as faster device), get more reliable internet (your internet will be less likely to go down when the signups occur), move into a city (it will probably have better internet than rural homes), move into an area with more reliable electricity (power cuts are the same as internet going down when attempting to sign up to Mafia), move to a richer country (it will probably have better internet), get a job (so you can get money to afford all the previous things).

Backups are actually very much needed for most games. They enable to host to kick inactive players to make the game better.

Amnesiac - Can make a player forget their color for the rest of the game making them flip clear* for the rest of the game. They can not be nightkilled. May also kill someone every night. If the amnesiac targets a town they can still discuss with other town members but can not perform their other ability.

Angelic/Fallen Dæmon - Name fix. Angelic seems to not work so well, but I am not saying you can not call her Angelic, but I added /Fallen because, well, She is technically a Fallen Dæmon
