NOTE: This epiosde is being made in SMBX 2.0 Beta 3 So I recommend using that version
Hello! This is my first episode ever, so don't expect my remaking skills to be like Sapphire Bullet Bill.
I wanted to remake this because I like the lost levels. And i know i sound crazy by saying that, but the challenge is fun. But no one remakes it. I see countless remakes of The original SMB, But no lost levels. It Might have been remade once because i was a version of 8-1 on Bossedit8's 128 ways to die in SMBX, but that's the only remake i've ever saw.
There's going to be 13 Worlds. Including World 9 and Worlds A-D
Progress:
World 1 - 100% Done

Screenshots
This is the best quality screenshots i could get without stretching them, so enjoy.
I reread all the Project rules, and I'm pretty sure that this falls under all the requirements for it to be a project (At least i hope it falls under requirements)
Oh, and i also should give Credit to Valtteri for the SMB3 Snow Tileset.
And credit to Sednaiur for the Expanded SMB1 Tileset.

Oh, i should also metion, Link is blocked because it's not his story and mainly because i'm too lazy to put spawnpoints for link, and peach is blocked because she's the one you're saving.

There is sooo much smb1 recreations, but iv'e never any smb2:the lost level recreations! The project look nice, because i know its hard to ``exactly`` recreate the main game.
The only wierd thing is the smb3 graphics, buti guess its not very worrying.
This looks OK, but I would recommend custom graphics so you don't have to put SMB3 graphics in. Also, you are aware you can put backgrounds behind blocks, right?
Nice project mate! Looking forward to see the full product! But I think you should make it more like SMBLL. I mean, use SMB1 graphics instead of random graphics. (Including Mario and Luigi) You can find them in Squishy Rex's CGFX Pack.

Or the community GFX pack, pretty sure the ones in Squishy's pack are 8-bit.

There are also the SNES versions of SMB1 GFX. I'm sure about it.

FYI, world 7 is a nighttime grass world.
Anyway, it looks good in terms of recreation. I played the original game as well. Later, it gets hard as hell though.
