Quick sneak peak! New character for the episode I'm working on. Better not be deceived by his appearance.

The D and I are too small in comparison to the rest of the letters. Besides that the concept is neat.

No wonder it looked a little off, fixed it with this version.
I am considering removing the exclamation mark. It feels off.
Also Irrelevant but still WIP
Overgrown Kedama Mini Boss for my Project
(It's wearing a Tengu Mask to make itself look more threatening because all Kedamas, specially big ones are typically cute.)
Gotta work a little more on the shading though, specially the blob shade at the lower right corner.

WTF!?
THAT IS AWESOME!
Anyway, useful for icy underground levels. I also noticed that the lower area is flooded.
I like it.
All it needs is some clouds...

The only real thing that's wrong with this is that the water could be a little more detailed, oherwise, this is awesome!

Here's what I'm up to in terms of custom graphics. Still trying to get the right kind of stripe on the slopes of the first set.

Just so you know, 1x1 pixels don't look good with 2x2 pixels. You should stick with one pixel size, not use both.

The message I'm getting from you from this video, you're telling me the graphics I'm working on requires more work on the shading? Anything in specific or, the entirety of both sets? Either way I planned to go over them to do any shading I might miss, but I could tackle anything outstanding now before I forget.

I see where you're coming from.. well it was worth a shot. I'll fix it up to 2x2 only. But Is there an exception with the screws where I can move it by 1 pixel, or should I rearrange that too.

Yeah sorry should've been more elaborate but was kinda in a hurry.
Point is that a lot of the shading, especially on the tileset, seems to ignore light sources completely, resulting in pillowshading. Most sprites have light coming from the top or top left. For stuff like the spherical objects on your sheet (pointy spikes) you can look at how the pipes are shaded for comparison.

You should try to avoid 1x1 pixels as long as you plan on having 2x2 pixels. Keep in mind this doesn't mean you shouldn't mix them, in some cases, it is good to do it, like if you were to make a screw that's big but not big enough to emphasize detail, you could go ahead and, say, draw a 2x2 pixel that's supposed to represent said screw. In these kinds of situations is ok to mix them, but if you're mixing them for more detail it starts to look rather bad, which is what happened with your tileset. Besides that, Enjl has a point regarding its shading.

Thanks you two for the advice, I redid a few of them and came back to make sure if I'm on the right path or not. The ones highlighted in green are the edited ones. If something is still wrong let me know via pm (To not take up this entire topic), I really want to make sure I finish strong with my first set of custom graphics.
