Well, apart from me having voted "no" because I'm not familiar with the new characters yet, I'd say there should also be a version of the episode that stays compatible with what you used for Mix World 2 (1.3.0.1+Lua I guess), since I still see people having problems with the download of 2.0 etc.

Very surprised there isn't a support logo on this, considering how high quality it is.

A lot of the background objects in the space factory level look like they're solid. The koopa robot guy thing camouflagues with the background behind it and could be hard to spot during gameplay. The level's background actually has tiles of the colour which I'd expect the background objects to be for this level. So what I suggest is recolouring the bgos to the palette of the background and then making a background which isn't a tiled wall of your background objects. That way you eliminate possible camouflaguing enemies and get rid of my confusion when it took me 10 minutes to realise the background wasn't just a 2nd layer of bgos.

Well, i will try to handle the background (by recolor/make it darker) or change the background.

I don't think it was intended to have colour.

super old quote but I'd personally advice against doing this, especially since getting 2.0 is way easier at the time and 2.0 will be the main supported version compared to 1.3.0.1 + Lua. Additionally, if you don't wanna strip the 1.3.0.1 + Lua version of a lot of its features, you'd have to include essentially all of 2.0's assets, too, and at this point it's really not worth the effort imo.
Also I second Enjl's point: The main theme of the level (aside from the color) is the contrast between a factory and a forest, but when both tilesets look largely the same that aspects gets kinda washed out.

The conscious decision to remove colour doesn't change the fact that it would look a million times better if it had it.
Also I completely agree with Spinda on the 2.0 thing.

Wow o_O
It seems that you guys want to see the colored version of the grayscale level, so i will try to do that, but i still want to make it creepy tho.
Smbx 2.0? Sure
Another update? Probably on Mid-December :/ bc i'm still busy with school and IRL.

If anything, the lack of colour makes it LESS creepy.

Making things grayscale isn't really a good way of making things creepy imo. It can add to that, but if it's used as the only such element it doesn't really come off as creepy as much as just a choice made by the designer.
That said, there are ways you could use grayscale to compliment the level. For instance (just spitballing here), maybe make only the parts closest to the factory elements grayscale, to further invoke the feeling of the forest getting invaded.
