it's a custom made by chad, but I restyled it to SMB3 (it used to clash horribly)

After I looked at the screenshots, I had to say they looked really nice. I like the design, the atmosphere seems p. good and the world map is p. nice to look at too. Keep up the good work.

Please be more constructive and also make posts that are related to the project. If you have a project, just make a thread that follows the rules of the projects forum. (if you want people to see it)

The third screenshot (level in world 8 im guessing), everything is the same color. It looks fine like a screenshot but I'm afraid that when playing it, you can't anything apart from each other. Am I the only one who has a problem with this? But as long as you can tell things apart I guess it's fine.

you shouldn't have that problem when playing the level.

Oh okay then I was a little worried there. I always jump to conclusions. But you should still be careful with that. Make things more colourful rather than the same colour.

The first level of my episode is done. I'll try to get world 1 done and release a demo when it is done.
Also revamped my Bowser's Castle level with my graphics.

level 1-2 Dark Damp Depths has just been added. It utilizes a water dripping effect that Darkonius also used in his own episode. I kind of built the tileset around the usage of that specific effect.

Heh heh - now I get what you mean by "getting new inspiration". ^^
It is actually interesting, that you make somewhat a "delight"-version of some of my tilesets, which is not a bad thing.
I feel kind of honoured to see people doing that, and I would have never thought about that happening. :-P
The level itself looks nice and interesting by itself, and I especially like such themes, like a partly submerged mine of some sorts. It pretty much reminds me onto my level "Underground Caverns", which is also 1-2 in my project. A theme like this can have many variations in terms of level-design, and your level seems to also scroll up and down too, which is more than my level does.
The Goomba onto the first screen (located onto the bottom-middle) looks nice - he seems to be in a very bad mood about something. ^^
Please work further onto your project - I am sure it will become a very good and pleasant to play-one ;-)

thx and yeah lol. For this particular level, I used some inspiration, but I tried to keep things original at the same time. Like I said in your episode, it's pretty hard to come up with something original since a whole bunch of other people have already made it. I think the most original thing I've done in this particular episode was make the cheese land tileset. Granted there were others that attempted to make it before I did, but those versions needed a lot of improvement due to the color scheme and the shading. Anyway, I'm glad you like it so far.
