I really hope this project will go well, it looks promising. There aren't many SML Styled episodes (if there are any). Can't wait to play the whole episode, really!

Idk if you've gleaned this but I quit as graphic designer. I might make some SML2 stuff but I don't think I'll take any requests other than NPCs or BGOs.

Alright, let's start from the beginning.
I was thinking we could use SML2 styled Peachs castle tiles, but none exists, how could we style tiles to look sml2 - fied?
Seeing as MSL2 was black and white and had NES-like GFX, I'd say we should restlye it all to SMB3, since frankly, it didnt look that good. I'll se what I could do there.
As for Princess Peaches Castle, the only tiles of this I've seen so far belong to AirSHip's project and heven't been released yet.

Really? Did you do all of them? For some reason I remember most of the enemies having this weird fusion style of SML2 and SMB3 which didn't look too good, or I am mixing things up.

Yippie , you should check fanofsmbx's graphics and kinda use them as a template.
Well, I'd rather just make them either completely on my own or not at all, since I doubt using FoS' templates would help me save any time. Maybe I'll take a look at them for color choices, but that's all.
Alright, you could use them as a base, or something.
But enemies aside, what we really need that's in HIGH demand is tile sets, I think we should focus on tile sets and bgos first then NCPS. Lets start with tree zone. I already got a background just need the tiles smb3 styled as easy to work with. No cut off and all.
