Well last year there was a study conducted that stated children with autism, ADHD or Asperger's Syndrome were more creative & were most likely to play video games then those who didn't. I guess that sort of connects with your point about Yoshi SuperWingedYoshi. Anyhow, one of my friends has ADHD and another has autism, and well both of them can get very creative, they tap onto their creative side, they love drawing, playing RPGs, the outdoors & of course video games.

I have asperger's syndrome. Diagnosed in 2004, and I've read up a lot on the subject.
I have asperger's syndrome, and im a highly sensitive person...

I have LOTS of creativity...

I think there's a link between stuff like that. There is a huge following of Thomas The Tank Engine, and the majority of its userbase have autism. Something to do with face recognition - I can't recall entirely.
I cannot seem to "hate" yoshi...

I'm absolutely terrible at communicating offline, having a tendency to stumble over my words and briefly lose my train of thought mid-sentence. Even when I'm online, I frequently check everything I say to make sure I get my points across as correctly and clearly as I can. I'll even edit a post just to change a single word or punctuation mark if I feel it's necessary. I have a tough time picking up on social cues, as well as the emotions and intentions of others at times. I also have a hard time properly feeling some emotions myself, so I tend to think operate logically instead. I tend to require excessive clarification before I do something I don't fully understand. My range of interests is limited but obsessive, so while video games are my primary source of entertainment, I play them a lot due to having little interest in much else rather than addiction. However, if you get me talking about them, I might have trouble stopping.

But on the other hand, I have a high attention to detail and care for accuracy, so give me a task I completely understand and can accomplish, and the results will probably be pretty good. I thrive best with routine and repetitive stuff, as I'm concerned less with whether something's getting old and more with whether I'm doing a good job at it.

It's a completely different mental balance than most people are used to, but it works out in its own ways.
Please, Chad, your not the only one...
But at least theres some good effects to it

I was professionally diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age. I was driven to a town in my state that wasn't my hometown, but it was close by. I can faintly remember parts of my trips, but for the most part I'm drawing a blank. I know they happened, though.

Anyways, the reason I was being driven there was for therapy to make me "normal", I think. At one point I was given headphones that played nice music. Simple songs for children, I believe. My favorite was "Apples and Bananas", for some reason. Anyways, it seemed to work. The music made me calm, so I didn't have as many outbursts like before. (My mom seems to remember one in particular, where I hid under the teacher's desk in Kindergarden and cried/screamed until she came to pick me up. I... don't like being reminded about that, as you can probably imagine.)

It's still a hardly useful comment.

IQ tests on internet are unreliable.
