I may not be the greatest when it comes to sprite editing, but I thought this came out pretty well. Keep in mind that since this is Zelda, there isn't any fire flower sheet, super leaf sheet and so on. I didn't want to add these because, Zelda character don't normally get transforming items. So, here you are... (To be completely honest I am using this for my upcoming game... )

Simple yet it Looks neat for a new playable character like this. What I personally don't like is that it lacks some shading on some of the spots like the purple area and her Brown hair. Still, for a new playable character in SMBX, it's quite good.

I understand that you're not the greatest at spriting, but I also understand that this is merely a recolour and recolours are the single easiest thing to do.
Honest question: Do you think these colours go well together?
I don't think so. They clash. The silver is too bright and both purple and brown's lack of shading counteract the graphic. You should make sure at least the dress and shirt look good together and update this graphic accordingly. All you need for this is the fill tool set to "global" and the paint.net colours window, assuming that's the software you're using (which I recommend).

Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to work on it right away! And yes, I am using paint.net. Also, to be honest I wasn't really planing to release this out on the forums, but I thought that some people might enjoy it. Never the less, thanks again for the advice and I will definitely try the best I can to fix it. However, I don't know about the power-up sheets, but I'll try doing that as well... Also, I was trying to make a Princess Zelda Based off Twilight Princess...

I love this post
Also
Her hair is too brown. She looks like a brunette. I swore she was blonde.

No, I'm thinking of the OoT Zelda, WW Zelda, and practically every Zelda except Zelda I & II, and Twilight Princess. (i think that's all of them)

From personal experience, one thing that is difficult is outlines/shading. If it was me, I'd want to add a black outline somewhere on the hair, but I'd also worry the black would stand out. If I brightened the hair (possibly in addition to the black outline), would it look too fake?
In short, it's only the color that I'm worried about.

I'm thinking the same thing, so I might just leave it as it is. To be honest I kind of like it how it is. Plus, it was mainly for my brother to play as Zelda, because he really likes Zelda. Anyway he says that it looks fine as it is. Even though I have my doubts...
