Apparently Avast says GMS is a virus.

Everytime I download the installer, Avast says Game Maker Studio is a virus, and the download stops.
And I'm downloading it from the real website.

I use avast and it didn't recognize GMS as a virus when I downloaded it. Where did you download GMS from? The site you downloaded it from could've been malicious.

If you're not an administrator, that might also be causing issues with the installer.
