Wrong Data Informations

So, my little discussion what I have here is by having Informations and so on that are there on our eyes to read (and maybe understand it too) but at the end or at least later on that the Info was just not right what so ever (aka wrong Info) and this relates on everything and not only from regular Messages (like from specific Websites, Signs, Books, personal Stuff, etc.).

What I am trying to get here is that I did encountered something that has to do with wrong Data Informations in their own personal Profiles, Channels, Messages, etc. which I personally do not like but that is just a opinion of mine. I know there is a thing called "Sarcastic" but having wrong Data Infos is just not all that right since not only that the Message are there but if it is in the puplic, most of the peoples already knows about this or at least a bit of them.

On my personal Standards, I am not the one who just gave out wrong Informations like that as it seems just useless to me and it can confuse other peoples and maybe start questioning about the issue. Maybe it is fun to specific peoples who does that or something like that but this is not how it goes by having wrong Infos showing off in the puplic like that.

I think I get what you're trying to say here. Dishonesty isn't always the best policy, and neither is being sarcastic. I do wish people would be truthful and not lie a lot, but I don't think that can be done in this community.

Are you talking about how Kyo, for instance, has his wrong birthday/age information on his profile? If so, I can see what you're saying, I mean, if you don't want anyone to know your true birthday/age or anything, than simply don't have it on your profile, just don't make people think you're fourteen or whatever when you're not. If you're talking about something else, though, please let me know what.

Yeah, this is what I was talking about since having Infos that was made by one Member but all others thinks about it that it is true but later it just seems odd or not right what so ever for all that that the one Member did set up.

I have only one example to talk further and that is by changing your Birthday Date inside your profile every day just that other Members thinks that he/she gets Birthdays on every day and maybe having a wrong Age to show us.

I know this is kind of hard to understand but what I am trying to get at is by having wrong Informations in the puplic and everyone thinks about that but in reality it isn't right and it seems just a waste... at least in my opinion.

Yes i think i see what bossedit means today Kyo once again had birthday and turned 17 in 3 days after i mentioned this he changed it. Conspiracy a lot of people here use a wrong age bc they afraid of others here in the forum stalking them or some stuff.

More on-topic though, I don't really see the point of caring about people lying in their information? I mean, I take everything on the internet in general not really seriously, so somebody having nonsense info is half-expected in the first place.

I can understand that falsifying personal data is not the honest thing to to do but what about location?
Im not trying to be a smart ass, but with technology booming these days hacking stuff and knowing your home location(honestly) is not the best thing to do,or happen

then again i, probably over thinking the situation entirely...

Saying your hometown alone won't do much, but spreading little bits of information about yourself throughout the internet can be bad since people can piece it all together if you piss them off for whatever reisen.

It's pretty easy to find a lot of information about people if you want to, and not because they put their information out there, but because they put little snippets that are trackable.
