Extremely slow gameplay and FFAs

SMBX just started going REALLY slowly for me. It lags horribly and freezes often. I don't understand why. Also, can someone give me the tutorial for geting rid of that FFA sound problem? Thanks.

Go to FFA settings and add SMBX to the list of programs that arnt compatable for FFA.

I think you right click the FFA box on the task bar.

Have you tried disabling frameskip? That usually helps.
