How to make the boundaries go up/down when a switch is hit?

I would rather have a video tutorial, but words are fine too I guess.

Anyways, if you don't know what I mean, I can't explain it better than "hit a switch/axe, and then you can go further upwards/downwards in the level". The title also should explain something to you.

If you are using SMBX, you have to do the following:

1) Set the boundaries of the level post-axe grab. That is, the boundaries you want to set has to first be set in the editor. This usually means moving the boundaries to cover part of what it was and/or moving the boundaries into the part of the level outside it.
2) Go to your event editor and select the event that does the magic.
3) Hit "Use current" and it'll now show as "Set". This means it has taken your current level boundaries and committed it to memory. Once the event is executed, the level will use the boundaries from its memory.
4) Set the boundaries back to normal afterwards.
