Why no transparent?

Hello SMBX users,
I got problems making the gif images as transparent! When I try to do that, the bg become white and sometime black! Paint.NET isn't working for me (Please don't ask why! I hate this program actually) I use Photoshop CC! Some of the pics became transpert and small images like "spikes" or "blocks" or even "tiles" become white bg, I tried to fix it but I can't!
I have tried these options "Save as" and "Save for web" as well, but still can't...

The regular Image where a graphic like tile or sprite is in, does the unused space where nothing is on it black? Also, on the mask, is everything where the tile or sprite used to be black and the unused space white?

It is transparent not black or any bg added...

You have to make the original graphic black and the mask white... like this:

EDIT: I fixed it! It is transparent now
