I would like some gimmick ideas for a fully underwater level. Thanks in advance!
Gimmicks already planned:
-vertical, horizontal, and diagonal moving Jellyfish
...and that's about it.

I don't know if that sounds like a good idea, sorry.
Also, I don't even know how that would work, where I would get the graphic from, and what it would do.

Maybe you can make a Underwater where you can explore a bit and not only going right all the time like going up sometimes and going down to get more Coins and Power Ups that way and having different Obstacles aswell.

Areas of the level that trap you via invisable blocks causing you to have to go back through that area all over again.

I think this isn't a good idea in my opinion. Going back and forth just for activating Invisible Blocks isn't always fun to some members out there.

Its the puzzle aspect about it, that makes it enjoying when you finish it.

...Of course apart that. It's a kaizo trap. And I think it isn't even a gimmick.
Also in that level you don't have to go back.

Replace rotodiscs with jelectros with the npcblocktop=1 code and make spinning jelectros!

How about something involving water - It could have multiple gimmicks involved.
The water could turn into all three states of matter. The boiling water could be lava, and the frozen water could be a platform. In the end, all three types would be needed to progress. You could also use the switching gimmick used in Polluted Pathway.

Christian07: My level will not be that intricate like yours, so sorry, I don't want to take gimmicks from a Kaizo level.
Radishl: No, I'm trying to make a fun and enjoyable non-linear water way. I don't want to get points taken off for having to backtrack and such.
Blue Dread: That sounds neat, I'll do that!
KoolKat: Since the entire level is underwater, how would that work? Because, for instance, if you hit a switch and the water turns to lava, you'd instantly die.
And, I really didn't want to have to do this, but since I have already got misunderstood (if that's the right word) a few times, I'm just going to go ahead and show you what the level looks like.

Certain areas of water would become solid, or lava. Not all of it.

Looks neat! Hope you make the level a good one using our ideas.

Oh, sorry for misunderstanding you. =P
Blue Greed: Thanks for the kind words! Also, it's already official that I'm going to replace the Jellyfish with the Roto-Disk. However, I'm hoping and looking for one more gimmick recommendation, and after that, I would like this locked.

A Maze
The main room could be short but there are many mini rooms to take in order to get possible outcomes to the ending or boss.

I could use that idea for the second half of the level, thanks for the recommendation! This can be locked now.

No, I don't want this to be super annoying. All I want is a few short sections with some multiple paths and "confusement", that's all.
