Do you get any type of error messages while the crash or is it just suddenly? Also, can you eliminate nearly every blue Square Symbols with "FFa" in it (rightclick...) or is this not possible?

This might be the cause that either you run too much Memory on your PC or you have too much Memory (bytes maybe) saved on your PC. Try to change/delete/move a few... or change on the settings...

Or maybe that might be it. What does FFs do normally? I find this kind of strange that this little Program can crash SMBX without any notice but if this is it then delete only FFDShow.

What do you mean by too much memory saved? Isnt that a good thing? I have more free space than used space on my hard drive.

It could not be much important, if it makes this problem.

What is ffdshow tryouts?
ffdshow tryouts is a DirectShow and Video for Windows codec with support for a wide range of audio and video formats, such as Xvid, DivX, and H.264. It includes a powerful filter set that can enhance the video quality - with filters for resizing, deinterlacing, and displaying subtitles - as well as audio quality through normalization, down-/upmixing, and resampling.

Does it really affect anything significant?

It's not damaging your computer in any way, it's just taking up a lot of ram.

You can maybe try that, i've never personally tried that since i do have a bunch of memory on my pc, but if you DO uninstall it, there's a chance that smbx loses sound, so be prepared to reinstall smbx if this happens.

How did you get ffdshow in the first place btw. Im not that smart about tech so I wouldnt know how it was put on this computer.
Also is there a way to prevent ffdshow from showing smbx notifications?
