How do I fix this? It appears randomly and I'm not sure what to do.

Uhh, what exactly are you trying to tell and show us? Does that mean that there are some Tank NPCs that are merging eachother or something? I am quite confused to that honestly.

Do you see that space between those tank NPC which Mario is on? That's his problem. I guess there is no solution, as it arrive only when you test your level.

There is a solution to that. If you use background objects on those that moves with the Tank, that will be fine.
