Super Mario 64 Thwomp Shading

I'm making a Super Mario 64 Thwomp, in the style of Super Mario Brothers 3. I've done the npc coding, and the basic outline and design of the Thwomp itself. I just need help shading it, because shading is literally my weakness.

Assistance would be appreciated.
