Huge Complaint

I would like to have some answers here.

When I was a level judge for the first time, I got accused of "abusing my powers" and I got told by some administrators/moderators that you don't have the power to moderate users in the Levels, Projects, and Episodes section. Yet there are level judges moderating the levels sections. Yeah, so this is incredibly unfair. I just sent in a level judge application today to Valtteri, but if I'm going to get treated like crap and get unfair bias like the first time I was a level judge, I have no reason to get re-promoted.

So if skeptics want to say "an administrator/moderator didn't tell you not to moderate", I will post a/some nice, lengthy, what-should-be-controversial private message(s) here in the public. While I really don't want to do this, I also don't want to be considered a liar by not only the staff, but the userbase, because there's nothing I hate more than some dude saying, "Haha, Kep is a liar".

I don't remember ever accusing you of abusing your powers.

The only thing LJs can't do as moderators is give out forum-wide punishments.

However, there was a staff member or two that told me not to try not to moderate even though I had the power to.

They also can't moderate forums excepting Levels and Projects, but that's quite obvious anyway.

I feel either that the actions against you were either people being assholes or the forum opinion on what the level judges should be allowed to do has changed.

Since the rules, according to Joey, state that a level judge has every moderating power except forum-wide punishments, then the userbase shouldn't have told you how to run your job.

For what it's worth, I was going by the permissions system - they can do anything within the forum-based realm (locking/moving topics, editing posts, etc.), but globally (warnings, bans) they have no power. What they do with this power is up to them, and if they do something wrong then the staff will take care of it.

I don't see why you wouldn't lock it, quite frankly. My question is answered, and I highly doubt anyone else would have the same question as mine. Do as you feel, though.

Should I have told the administrators right after you did tell me not to moderate the level judge board? Likely. I just didn't because I'm a person who frankly has a heart and doesn't like to get others, especially staff members who helped me do certain things like level judging, in trouble.

I was being quite strict (well, honestly, not too strict because apparently users these days get automatically warned for saying "I like it" but I verbally warned users for saying something incredibly non-constructive like "COOL"). Then I began to get private messages saying something like "just report the useless posts to me and don't bother telling them" and "I'm only telling you not to moderate users to keep you safe".

I had only feared that you might have got in trouble with staff, that's why I told you to do that. But yeah Joey, he isn't lying, and I was out of place to say that. My apologies.
