Events from One Section Triggering in a Different Section

Hi all, so as you know it's been quite some time since I've dealt with the editing part of SMBX.
I've setup an event in one. This is triggered by an axe placed in front of the door, as you can see here.
And then I've got a series of doors. Going into one leads you into a section that should look very familiar to veterans (done on purpose as a reference)
As you can see, there's no axe. Yet it still happens to somehow trigger that same event when going through the door. My events are as follows:
1. The Axe triggers the event on its "death".
2. The event it triggers does the following:

3. The "Talk To Toad" event does the following:

4. None of the NPCs or anything trigger an event in the third section either. So I'm really confused as to what could cause this.
Any ideas?
