Image Combiner?

Postby FanofSMBX » Tue Jul 01, 2014 10:02 pm

I've got some MUGEN sprites I took out of a char file, but there is a problem. They are each seperate. I was planning on recoloring them, but it would be tedious. I have tried to look for image combining tools, but the only ones I find
A. Support 4-9 images max (I have like 100)
Or
B. make the image blurry
Could you please try and find one that doesn't have these characteristics?

Open Paint.Net
Open all the sprites
Select the first one
CTRL A
CTRL C
Open the picture where you want them to go
CTRL V
Move
Select the next one
Repeat steps 4-9

I don't think that would work, Emral, because he probably wants to make a spritesheet/tileset and would need a larger size image to work with (so there would be no images on top of others).

The easiest I can think of is to make a giant blank image and then drag and drop all of the image files from Windows Explorer into Paint.NET, then select the "create new layer" option when Paint.NET opens all the images (as opposed to opening each individual image). Go into each layer and move the images out of the way and then merge all of the layers together.

...except you'd have to then separate them all out again. It would be easier to just mass recolor each individual image.
