RULES THREAD
WHY THE SUBFORUM?
Do you have a WIP level and need feedback or testers? You can make a thread for your level ahead of its completion and collaborate with people looking to play submissions. There is no anonymity rule. However, I will not take a look at any threads posted and only keep my eye on the submissions and rules threads.
HOW TO SUBMIT
To submit a level, you leave a reply in this topic with the download link to the level. Each reply should contain a single level, and can be edited to update the level.
In order for your level to be scored, I need to be able to download it when the submission period ends.
I recommend using services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or MEGA to upload your level. Mediafire is a bad choice because of its slow download speeds. If you are using Google Drive, make sure your files are publicly accessible.
WHAT SHOULD MY SUBMISSION INCLUDE?
- The level file
- Any custom music, config files, particle files, and audio files you used should be in the level folder
- Including a readme is recommended. It may contain:
- The name of the level
- The name you want to be credited as
- Preferred playable characters
- Amount of exits and collectables
- Anything you think the judges should know. Including a poem if you'd like!
- An explanation of your vision
- Your judgement of your own level
- Your opinion on other people's submissions

Please keep the filesize of your music below 5MB. Songs larger than 5MB are always a hassle. Making looping OGG music is very easy and usually only takes up 1-3MB, too!
Please also ensure that your music works. Nobody likes broken music paths.
If you used more than 10 configs, more than 2 particle files, more than 3 audio files, or other disallowed assets, the event team will remove them before distributing the levels to the judges. Be clever in design, not in cheating the rules, please.
If the download of your level surpasses 10MB and is submitted before the deadline, the event team will PM you on the forums or DM you on Discord to lower the filesize. Any submissions larger than 10MB will be disqualified.
SUBMIT BY THE END OF AUGUST 31ST. THAT IS THE DEADLINE. THE EVENT TEAM WILL COLLECT THE LEVELS ON SEPTEMBER 1ST.
