Cracking A Few Eggs

Hi shapeshifters and timetravellers! If you've paid attention over the past few days, you'll have seen that the forums were temporarily littered with eggs - and then just as quickly tidied up again. We tried out an Easter forum theme in which all the icons were changed to eggs.

Unfortunately, it turned out that many people found the same icon with recolors over and over to be very inaccessible, so we made the theme optional. However, we do love our seasonal forum themes, and we want to fix up the Easter theme to be actually usable.

For this, we want to involve you guys: We're looking for distinctive thread icons that are easily distinguishable but all fit the theme of Easter.
Squishy suggested a few variations on the standard egg, such as Normal Egg, Cracked Egg, Hatched Egg, Baby Yoshi, etc, and he even provided us with a mockup:



If you have any ideas or graphics you want to contribute, post them in this thread. I think it'd be great if we could turn this into a community effort to really design our site the way we want it to look!

I think a list of all the icons and what they indicate would be really helpful to people who would like to submit their own themes/icons.
