Legend of Mario didn't match my expectations towards a featured episode, it was kinda dull and short.

The legend of Mario is pretty overrated it isn’t a bad episode though. There are some poorly designed levels like one of the first cave levels in game with the confusing exits and warps. I had to edit the level a bit to pass it. Also that one level with the water,munchers and piranha plants can go jump in a sinkhole.

I guess the majority of the boss rushes for me. I don't enjoy playing an episode with only bosses that are basically reskins with different graphics honestly. I personally enjoy levels a lot more.

That’s a pretty popular opinion. I majority of users here despise boss rush episodes. They are hated so much due to how lazy,boring and pointless they usually are.

Ah fair, I think is because Ive seen so many pop up that I thought it was a common thing.

Minor nitpick: The fact that the community disdains boss rushes is quite the opposite of saying "they're overrated".

If so, I'd say Yoshi's Archipelago wasn't that good.
At least I don't think it deserved being a featured episode as I think most levels were kinda boring.

Any reason why? It's a long entertaining episode with cool levels (especially the exit sequences) and a specific concept around Yoshis?

I'd have to place Airship Attack for this, it was good initially from people's reactions back then, but as time went on, people look backed on it and found it to just be long and repetitive with its level design, which I'd have to agree on.

I gotta agree with Cedur on this one. I think that Yoshi's Archipelago was pretty fun and had cool ideas for levels. The world map was pretty expansive, too.

Thank you, I feel the same way about Airship Attack and always knew something was off

It was a bit bland and basic at times, but still I think it was a fun "classic" adventure, and frankly its length was an attraction for me.
The extra worlds and the lengthy final world were highlights in particular.

speaking of which, have you found all the stars there? I still need some!

Also Bowser's Tank Brigade got me really frustrated, even with Hammer+Tanooki+shoe I took a dozen attempts to beat it. It felt even worse than Funny Tanks lawl.

Agreed. It may be the most underrated episode I know.
I haven't found all the stars though.
