bumpties
bumpties
(hint: you can make the sliding one to never stop sliding by putting "neverstopsliding=true" in its txt file. this is the normal behavior if it's in a generator)

These are pretty cool. Do they bounce you back when you hit one?

I'm glad you put all the types here, they look fun to use.
Added in 32 minutes 24 seconds:
It doesn't seem to work for me. Whenever I try to load the level, it comes up with this error.
Half the time the bumpties work, the other half they don't.
I put the AI folder in the level folder and kept the lua files inside it.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

You forgot to copy over the AI folder. The error message says as much.

Yeah they do.
I'm going to take this opportunity to say that if you ever feel disastified with their bounce, you'll need to change the player's runspeed like so:
Code: Select all function onStart()
Defines.player_runspeed = [whatever number you want]
end

I think they are just fine. Thanks for these.
Will there be a mega version? That would be awesome.

The LunaLua forum assumes the most recent release of SMBX2. At the time, this is the PAL build.

Yes, they work fine for beta 4 (based on the very little testing I just did). If you find any bug, report them here.

I downloaded it and made a level, and found a bug where a Sliding Bumpty just slides through a Squmper rather than being stopped by it.

What kind of Squmper?, only blue and ghost ones interact with enemies, red ones are player only

Blue Squmper. Specifically the Mini one, though you may wanna check the other Squmpers and Bumpers.

I did more testing, this has occurred for all types of Bumpties.

Weird... I think I might've made a new version and never uploaded it. I've tested with the blue squmpers now and they worked.
Anyway, download them again now.

Yeah, still seems to be a bug on my end, and the Bumpties I used are completely unedited from the version ready for download.

It appears that one is a bug with the squmper (all NPCs interact like that with them). You'll have to wait for a new SMBX2 update (or make a local version of the squmpers with a fix).

I can't use Lunalua, so I'll just wait and make note not to use sliding enemies with Squmpers.
