The Sundown 2 2.0

Okay, first: Why 2? Well... There was the first one... and it sucked so i've decided not to publish it here... The second one was a bit better...
The episode was first available on the polish SMWMods forums... which is basically dead at this point. You can still find these two episodes there, but i wouldn't really recommend playing them...

Since then my level designing skills have improved, and so... i've decided to update this one... Why is it called The Sundown? Well... i'm not sure.

Story:

After Bowser was defeated by Mario, Luigi and Toad on the shadow islands, his throne room has collapsed, crushing him... Unfortunately he managed to survive...
Now he's back and full of anger! Of course... he has immediately started planning his revenge... Along with the Koopalings he's trying to poison the entire Mushroom kingdom with some chemicals made out of some strange stuff, but most importantly: The Blackshrooms. They're like Poison Mushrooms but 10 times worse. He has also set a small toad village near Princess Peach's castle on fire... Unfortunately for him though, Mario and Luigi soon found out about it...
Their journey towards the Lava Land begins...

While the screenshots are pretty good, some the paths between some levels are just way too long, especially in the grassland area. Also the grass land ares scenery could be more spread out, because there are some rather bland areas while other areas have too much.

In terms of levels, there is clash in some screens
Screenshot 5 has some SMB1 and SMW sprites clashing
6 has SMW stuff clashing with the SMB1 tiles, and I don't think the SMB1 BGOs look good either
8 has an SMB1 bush that does not work with the rest of the screen

Screenshots 7 and 9 look bland and don't seem to have much happening in them.

I would suggest to recolor the background odf the metroid level as red to fit the tiles

I would suggest to ignore that piece of advice, as red and purple look nice together and purple is the next darker hue on the color wheel, making it the natural choice for a darker or more faraway area.

I like your style mixing, it looks pretty neat. My only graphical concern is the Peach's Castle (?) background. Some doors look like they're halfway into the floor, which looks odd.
