So I posted this in the PGE section for 38A and decided I would post it here, as this episode desperately needs attention. Oh yeah and the download to SMBX 1.4.4 is included under the downloads section, it's the original and actually works so yay!
Super Mario Bros. X Through Time 2 is a game made by Peashooter Mixer (who has asked me to submit his episode here) which is wonderfully crafted, with original lovable and hate-able characters. It features an overarching, original story. (Playing the first one is not recommended.) The sequel has heavily changed since the first, now there's actually good level design and balance.
Synopsis: Two years pass after the events of Through Time. Mario receives a message from his good friend Toadsworth, asking him to visit Princess Peach's castle. Mario does so and finds out that Toadsworth wants to destroy the time machine (his creation) which has caused so much trouble. Mario agrees with him and needs to collect 6 power stars to power Toadsworth's machine that will destroy the Time Machine. Mario then meets Grey, who Yoshi introduces Mario to.
They chat for a while before Mario heads off on his new adventure. A few levels in and Mario encounters the Rotten Bros! Two hammer bros who want to fight Mario, but they fail. After that Mario encounters Doshi in the next level. Doshi seeks revenge on Mario for everything he did to him in the first game's events.
After collecting 5 power stars Mario heads down to Jeff's shop, where Doshi is seen again. Doshi is surprised and tries to again, get his revenge. He finds a random Goomba and gives it a Mega Mushroom, causing it to turn humongous! Mario then has to do battle with this oversized Goomba. After battling he finally succeeds and heads back to Peach's castle. Where Toadsworth uses the stars, but then just before Doshi comes in, and then the Rotten Bros come in. But then the lights get turned off and Program 78 gets executed by someone, and an emergency time rift appears, sucking everyone in and locking them inside the time machine. Travel through time in this PvZ 2 inspired episode, going to new eras of time never before seen, such as the Cenozoic Savannah era! Or do you want to go somewhere a little more adventurous? Then Lost City is just for you! Each era has their own mechanics and enemies.
Levels can sometimes feature custom objectives, where you must complete that objective to pass the level, such as not harming more then 5 koopas or goombas. Every world has their own Demonstration Mini-game (DMG for short) which can feature different mechanics from your standard level (and awesome music!) Then you have Ultimate Battles, where the level autoscrolls (and plays amazing music!) A lot of the game's music is custom composed by Peashooter Mixer while others are used from PvZ 2. At the end of each world you have to face a unique, challenging, and fun boss! Many scripts were custom made by Peashooter Mixer in this episode, such as bosses, GUI related scripts, and randomizers (for certain worlds such as Big Wave Beach, where the water rises to a random amount in certain places)
Worlds are added every update, so keep checking back for new worlds on Peashooter Mixer's channel!
The idea for the big wave beach update is good, you've already thought about doing mini-games like vasebreaker or I zombie in smbx it would be spectacular

Active work on the episode is being done, a world was just completed. Fret not, the game is far from dead and is on track to being completed! I don't have an ETA, though.
