They look correct, just, you should recreate them in paint.net rather then Ms paint, since it corrupt images.

i made them in paint.net not in ms paint.
And the image was just bad because i got it from bandicam and i selected JPG (normal).
sorry for my laziness right here, at least they fit in overworld :)

Instead of trying to rip an asset that's already in the game, just go in the game's graphics file and copy it out of there

??? umm i simply made a smb1 styled spike, where is the original one?
And there is no smb1 spike in the game, i took the smb3 one and made it smb1 like.

He's talking about the fact that the SMB1 block you put inside the spike is already in SMBX.

About the graphic, it seems really lazily made and could be easily mistaken for a non hurtful block due to the texture.

If you want a correct screenshot, right click the image and copy it's URL instead of copying the one Imgur gives you.

Anyways, as everyone else said, this has 1x1 pixels. I probably won't use it.

I would not use this there is probably a different use for this but I can't think of a one. Also please take my advise about the images because is annoying for people with bad internet to open a new tab (me)

Code: Select all

Remember to always add .img to the end of the image link also remember not to add the extra space the the end

I don't think I will be using this anytime soon. The spikes in sednaiur's pack are better. These ones are only really there if you want generic spikes.

Please note that I am not a GFX designer myself but you would want to make sure that you use 2X2 pixels in your GFXs since that is what SMBX uses by default. You also want to ensure they look like they are made for their purpose (as mentioned in above posts, the texture of the spikes can make them look harmless to a player who has not seen this topic but encountered the GFX in a level. If you want quality tips, then someone like Sednaiur or someone who makes GFXs would give you better advice about GFX making if that is something you want to get into.

I will update the graphic by adding 2x2 pixels.
