Jayce's 7s of levels

This is my level thread. Bow to me. {BLEEP} Sorry.
Back on SMM, I was a known level maker sort of. But my recent levels are known to be extremely hard, so don't expect mercy.
Hardcore Airships
A level for my project. It is VERY HARD Here is an obligatory screenshot. This level REQUIRES 2.0!

Working on a new level. Well, actually polishing it. It is a bullet-hell-ish platforming level.

Yeah, this one is going to be EXTREMELY hard to do. I don't really have a sense of difficulty, or good BGO placement.

From the screenshot, it looks great but I dislike the grid and the fact you can see whats inside the ? block takes away the surprise. Better give it the normal ? block graphic.

Actually, it is a flower block. They only work if you are small though. It is a very hard level. Something you would see in the Hardcore worlds on Mario forever.

That's a block from SMBX2 Beta 3 which gives you the fire flower powerup no matter what.

This was actually a screenshot taken in the level editor, where you can see what you place and where it is

That comes with practice and experience.

Just looking at your one screen, you got quite a bit going on. First off, the green is awfully unfitting and really doesn't fit well with that tileset anyway. You should just get rid of the bottom path because literally no one is going to go through that way. You have at least 4 different projectile-shooting things of some sort (3 generators, a venus fire trap, and a hammer bro). Get rid of at least two of those. Overall, very cramped. Space it out more, make the harder routes more rewarding, make difficulty fair.

This is all by looking at that one screen.

Yeah, I may change the green. I have long since updated this anyway, what's like, 900 changes to get it to work?
