(This is not my episode! Please do not give credit to me in any shape, fashion, or form!)
So, SMB: Collaboration, the old SMBX episode originally planned long ago as a collaboration between important SMBX figures. So you're probably wondering, "Mariogeek2, why are you uploading this? This episode was never finished. It's an incomplete product." As it turns out, what the creators did make, albeit incomplete, is quite fun. I had deleted it, but I got a renewed interest in it as of late. I figured that new users might come across Chad's videos on YouTube, which showcase the levels he designed for this episode, and want to download it. Well, I was trying to find a download link for the episode, and I looked all over the forums, and I couldn't find it, not even in the Help & Support subforums. I eventually found a download link to Mediafire in the dark reaches of the internet, and downloaded it myself. You're welcome, community.
This episode was designed by Chad, Uncle Sam, Yoshiboo62, Naranja, Lucas127, Marioworker12, Eltipsa, Link, Ace, Magus, and reghrhre. And I know episodes require screenshots or video of the levels or world, so here are some old level showcases on YouTube:
And here is the download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/htu94 ... r._1.1.zip
And here is the download link for the patch: http://www.mediafire.com/download/iw72g ... ch_1.1.zip
Hope you guys enjoy it.
EDIT: New update guys! Just added even more character blocks to levels that could only be beaten by certain characters. See my latest reply in this topic for the details. I've also added a poll. Again, see my latest reply to know what is going on.

No, but I thought that they wouldn't really care because it was so long ago and I credited them. Plus, most of the users who created the levels aren't around anymore (right? Yoshiboo isn't around anymore, I don't think. Or did they just get name changes? I don't know.).
I'm sorry I didn't ask them. I'll be sure to PM them first opportunity I get.

Yeah, he changed his name to Gintoki and is still here, but he rarely visits this place.

What about anymore of the users? Did they get name changes? Or am I just a complete idiot and users Naranja, Lucas127, Marioworker12, Uncle Sam, Ace, Magus, and Link are still active on the forums?

Ace is active here, he even posts on the forum also. You can see reghrhre sometimes and same with Sam.

This episode is missing character blocks for parts that can't be beaten with every character.

Beatiful episode ... The levels have a good design and looks pretty nice.
A thing i don't like is the absence of a world map tileset.
Anyway, I ask me, if you will post SMB - Revisited ... Will you ?

I thought it was already in the episodes subforum. Ah well, I guess I'll post it. Need to get permission from the level creators again.
Anyways, I PMed Chad and ElTipsa and they both said it was fine. Still haven't got a reply from Gintoki or Ace.

Thx, zlakergirl357. You saved me the trouble of looking for it.

Are you sure? Because I downloaded it myself off the D-Link, and I opened the episode folder up, and everything seemed to be there.

Too sure. It's too strange, it says "Invalid or deleted file", I'm not kidding you guys !!
EDIT: Could you be so kind to send me a PM with a D-link ? For "D-link" I mean your one. If possible, anyway thanks to all.
EDIT 2: It's all okay. I've already found a version from a video of Youtube. So, let me take a selfie nevermind. xD

All righty, guys, another update (not to the game, just to clarify, to the topic instead) is here. I finally got permission from Gintoki/Yoshiboo to post this, so that's another name to add to the list. Also, another thing. The game is pretty fun, but it lacks polish, especially the world map. I was thinking of tidying things up, actually adding graphics to the world map, maybe adding a few extra levels, such as to after the last level, as it feels kind of unfulfilling to beat it and there be just nothing. I'll probably try to obtain permission to do so from the episode creators as well. Well, that wraps it up guys.

Can you also add character blocks to some levels? With Link or Peach you'll find yourself in a situation where you can't beat the level very often. Using character cheats is a little unhandy and also messes with the powerup states of the other characters. And people who don't know anything about the cheats like me are left wondering why they can't save the game anymore before they finally find out.

Yeah, I'll be sure to do that.
Okay guys, you can expect SMB: Collaboration Version 1.2 Soon. See you later.

We actually planned to do a hub back then, Magus was doing it. Just it was never finished for whatever reason. Someone of the team could potentially finish it if there's still someone interested. Shame most of the team left.
