Using MIDIs for custom music

Postby Taogoat » Sun Mar 02, 2014 11:50 am

I know this sounds silly, but I have tried it before and they work but had some kinda looping issue, I can't remember. If there's no workaround for it, how would I go about converting the MIDI to an MP3?

As far as I know SMBX doesn't play MIDIs, that's rather strange and weird note you're pointing out there. To convert MIDI to MP3 there are various online converters out there, but in my opinion the best converter out there is a program called Spesoft Audio Converter, you can download it here.

I'm not sure if this functions with MIDIs, but once I had an MP4 and then I just changed the format to MP3 but deleted .MP4 in the file and replacing it with .MP3 and astoundingly it was compatible with SMBX.
Alternatively, you could do as Natsu said since that would work too even though it's increasingly complexer.
