Hi, here is an episode Iv'e been working on for a little over a week now, its called Subcon Quest, it will double the amount of levels as the episode Super Princess Dreamland, which contained 12 worlds with 5 levels apiece on a linear world map, mine is on a similar worldmap, but has twists and turns, as for the decorations for the world map, I tried to use a green color and surrounded it with a sea on all of the edges, Princess Dreamland didn't have the sea surrounding it and the land area was a beige color, Here are some screenshots of some of my early levels, well I'm still working on world 1 the 6th level of that area, trying to come up with design ideas, if anything needs improving I will be willing to fix, I know the worldmap I made still looks barren, also for the bonus vase areas could use a darkbackground of original image inside the vase area, I can't seem to know how to darken the background of those areas.

In my opinion: I think it needs some backgrounds, levels need some decoration to look good (of course, while not overdo)
On the other hand, I like it, I always felt a kind of attraction towards these types of levels (simple levels)
But... well... I like your levels but is supposed that this is a subcon episode, why this levels have some SMB3 graphics?

Thanks, will get the world map fixed up as for the the bonus area, Iv'e seen a few episodes with the original background darkened a bit, Iv'e been wondering how that is done.

You will find a fix by making the mask white. If it does this, it needs to be a brighter white. Also, those are some cool Hoopsters.

Try taking screenshots with F12 instead of whatever you're using now. They're very blurry. Also, try spreading very small clusters of coins throughout your level instead of large numbers of them in small places and add some decorations (scenery) to your world map, as well as making the paths less straight and the landmasses less rectangular (use the sloped world map tiles and make hills, etc.)

I recommend making it so you don't see any black space when you're trekking along on the map.
