Sizables with bottom-edges

Postby Drachenbauer » Sat Oct 17, 2015 3:47 pm

Hello i´ve seen, that there are sizables with open bottom, so they must be placed on another platform or toucheng the bottom-edge of the section.

Now I made new versions of them with a closed bottom-edge.
Now they can hover free in the air or hang from the ceiling too.

In the main-Folder there is another folder "Sizables with bottom-platform - Drachenbauer".
theese are sizables, where the new bottom looks like another platform.
so i placed invisibles if all non-sizable blocks (bridges, clouds and more) with the same playing-characteristics (jump through from the bottom and land on them) like stzables in this folder too.
they can be placed in front of the bottom-"platform" of theese sizables to make it usable

the two lower rows have the bottom-"platforms" where the invisible blocks should be used. i placed one type of them on this positions here so mario can stand there.

if i try to mirror the copyed parts of then the light-direction does no more fit.
and so you can use the bottom part as another platfoem by placing invisible blocks on it

The three grass sizables in the last two rows look really bad because you just copied the top and re-layed it with the same rotation on the bottom. All of the bottom pieces should be rotated 180 degrees and then you can just fix the shadowing so that the shading matches the top pieces.
The mushrooms and theSMB3 grass sizable (the grass sizable in the top row) are also incorrectly done because the shading is wrong. It'll take more work than just cutting, pasting, and flipping the different pieces; you need to re-shade them.
The SMB2 sizables don't look too bad except for the ice one (top left corner) which looks a little odd at the bottom.
EDIT: Sorry, my mistake.

I don't mean to bring you down but Sednaiur among other people has already created bottom edges for basically every sizable block.

the smb 1 one has a rippled conture at the bottom of it´s top-part so i did not rotate it for the bottom because it should be another platform by using invisille blocks

why the mushroons are wrong shaded?
at the smw mushrooms the light is placed a the center there is the same amount og darknes in all directions.
i think, the most smw- blocks are shaded this style

the ice-block you mean, is from smb 3, the right one is from smb 2

The sizables look fine. I think Cosmik's just being a dick for the sake of being a dick.
