Hi Guys! And welcome to my first project at SMBX! It's called Super Mario and the 7 Grand Stars!

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Super Mario and the 7 Grand Stars is my first upcoming SMBX project! This project contains gimmicks from Super Mario 64 (Collecting Stars) and Super Mario World. (World Maps and Yoshis)

HOW MANY WORLDS WILL THIS PROJECT INCLUDE?

Super Mario and the 7 Grand Stars will include 9 Worlds which first 7 are islands around the Mushroom Kingdom. World 8 is Bowser's Kingdom and World 9 is a secret world which can be unlockable by completing the game once and collect all power stars. The Islands include temples which protect Grand Stars inside. Without the seal, the Grand Stars are unstable and they become powerful as sinking a whole island. If you save the Grand Star, you can save the island too.

WORLDS' LIST

I'm not going to describe the worlds because it can take too long and only 2 Worlds are available at the moment. When all of the game is complete, I'm gonna describe. For now, here is a list of worlds in the game:

WORLD 1: Green Grasslands (GREEN GRAND STAR) (%50 Done)

WORLD 2: Dusty Desert (YELLOW GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 3: Frosty Snowlands (CYAN GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 4: Tropical Beach Forest (PURPLE GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 5: Nimbus Cloudlands (BLUE GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 6: Ghostly Forest (SILVER GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 7: Magmatic Madness (RED GRAND STAR) (Not Started)

WORLD 8: Bowser's Island (Not Started)

WORLD 9: Superstar Island (Not Started)

WHICH CHARACTERS WILL TAKE PART DURING THE EPISODE?

For now, Mario is the only playable. But Luigi will join Mario soon. And there is a SS (Super-Secret) character which can be only unlockable by completing th game once. With each character you've unlocked, you'll be able to discover even more power stars!

Is the water just part of the background or actual water you can swim in? It's really confusing

Yeah, the background can be confusing sometimes. But the water is a part of the background. I got it from Chad's Project SMSE.

anyways, yeah, the water background is confusing, but I do like the screenshots,
but let's see how this project will go

You might want to decrease the size of your project. If you are going for the collect x amount of stars before continuing to boss, then this project will take a hella long time. I know this because I had a project like this once and was way too big to handle.

Well, this looks already cool, but like others said, the BG is confusing, maybe you should just cut out the water part. Also, you should hide stars a bit better, the star in the 2nd screen is very easy to get (unless it's the exit of the level).

I understand. But I'm going to remove the star from here because it was too easy like you said. And about that, Do you know why the title shows it's just Chapter I? I'll explain later.

Hi guys! I need a few things to make my project continue! I need a logo, some graphics (7 Grand Stars, SPP Bowser, YI Kamek and Kammy etc.) and level designers for some levels because I can't create all levels. That's a bit tiring anyways. Thanks for Reading!

SPP Bowser replaces SMB3 Bowser, YI Kamek replaces SMW Ludwig von Koopa and YI-styled Kammy replaces Mother Brain. And about the yellow rectangle that you have in your reply, how can I do it? Please PM me to describe. Thanks!

the screenshots looks okay, but
- the SMB3 bushes has 1x1 pixels because you recolor it with MS paint. use paint.net to recolor the bushes for preventing 1x1 pixels
- I see 3 cut-offs at 1st screen.

You don't have to overuse the water boxes like this. The cutoff looks bad and the bushes have 1x1 pixels. Oh yeah and the pipe entrance is placed wrong.

Yeah, most of you said my screenies have lots of cutoffs but in the next demo; they will be fixed. And anyways, I still need World Names for the remaining World 4, World 5, World 6, World 7, World 8 and World 9. Thanks for reading!

Hey guys! The first demo is completed! But I have problems with world map because it keeps crashing the game and I can't send the link without worldmap. But rest of the demo is done! I'm waiting a logo for my project (Maybe SuperMario7 or somebody who can make a great logo) and I still need some graphics! If you guys help, I'd really appreciate it! :)

I think the SMW toad is unfitting due to being the only SMW thing. Someone made a SMB3 reshaded SMW Toad I can give you.
