It actually got remade as part of a CC7 level but with SMB3 recolors and a more expansive layout rather than random scribbling in MSPaint. However that didn't stop it being a joke level and making it no further than Tier 1.

Yeah, that. It was accompanied in ToB6 with the other joke levels: the legendary Block Bollocks, Waterfall Ghost House, Random Clash, Battle for the SMBX Forums, Nobody Suspects a Thing, Frozen Hills, and that Chip Skylark level with a massive name.
That's the most joke levels I've seen in a ToB episode.

Are they still on the rise thanks to the unfortunate coincidence I talked about earlier, or are they getting rarer?

No, they're definitely getting more popular.

They are in gameplay, mostly.

That CC6 level. It's funny because you submitted a serious level in your first contest (Shadow Castle) and it's now descended into joke level nonsense such as this, and in the next contest, Random Clash. What happened?

Okay this topic is starting to run out of steam, so either stop talking about joke levels you've played and talk about the joke levels themselves or it's time to close up shop.

Well, I personally like joke levels as long as they're actually funny.

To be honest, the only joke levels that have serious design that I've played are the Chip Skylark one and Frozen Hills. They're joke levels not because of the design, but because of the music. No-one has yet to put a Valtteri cover in a level since Frozen Hills did it.

Wait, not Cheezburger Hillz?
Anyway, I think that these kinds of levels should be allowed. All levels should. It's common sense that with such an extensive editor, we should be able to do whatever the heck we want with it.

Forgot about that. It still has Frozen references though, and ever since I decided to post my CC8 level which was chock full of Frozen references, joke levels (or for that matter, serious levels) have started to incorporate Frozen references. Frozen references aside, the music in Cheezburger Hills was just funny, and way too high-pitched. The boss music was not even boss music either, but level music.

I messed with music way too much....
OK I love joke levels. I tricked TwinsWhoPlaySMBX (my irl friends) into playing Amateur Lands and Block Bollocks. It was so hilarious....

An A for effort, but I can see this topic's dead.
Fiiiiine. I'll leave this unlocked, but you should take discussing joke levels over to
this thread instead.

I also play touhou, and I technically only attempted a level that resembles the series once, and it was for the Tallis contest! I may try bosses every now and then, but that might be all!

Am I affected by that? I love to play touhou and bossedits levels, but what do you mean by "Pseudo"?
