Maybe we really consider to lower the whole Joke Levels because this isn't funny anymore to spread around on the puplic. Like seriously, they aren't related to regular Mario Games and it is just a waste of our time, even know this is just a repetitive feature.

To be exact, I announced joke levels exactly five days after Lock Lollipops was posted, and I was already planning on a Block Bollocks-style joke level before Lock Lollipops was posted (I had actually just begun it right before Lock Lollipops was posted). And no bossedit8, they've become really repetitive because of the bad timing of the announcement, as well as KoolKat's level.

Since what score did you just rated 71th place on cc8 when others rated it 0??

Why won't we have official joke level contests started , so this shit won't happen again?

I don't honestly like joke levels in the context of a serious episode.

But as for "Touhou" levels and bosses, I think Coll4040 tried to make a Touhou boss in his CC7 entry. However he went a bit over the top and it became Rinka hell with no room to dodge them. However, anyone can make a Touhou boss - it just requires a lot of time and skill to match those of bossedit8.

Considering it was completely unrecognizable, with spammy power-ups and blocks erased everywhere, with the CGFX all gone. Credit actually was given, after the base was found, of course.

But then do all the Block Bollocks creators need to credit the original authors of the levels, many of the corrupted levels originally by Redigit and used in TI2?

It would be cool if people did bc if you don't or say atleast you didn't make the original version you claim it as your own work.
It's just like with graphics.

It's also very creative, because it shows gimmicks on how to make even a simple Goomba a boss. Now about joke levels; they are fun just like any other level unless the deliberate "joke" in them is merely clash and shitty music. However, there are some qualities that make joke levels funny. First off, it's ok to have npcs placed in a certain order or made to look like something, provided they don't spam. Second, joke level music is ok when the music isn't just some youtube-poop-quality commentary. Things like the Nyan Cat Theme and Troll Song are funny in joke levels, but not things like youtube poop's "You must die" that repeat in a way that makes it song-like. Third (this is where the true definition of clash goes. Good work, Joey), there is a difference between joke graphics and clashing graphics. Joke graphics usually fit together with the cheesy art style, so that's ok, but misusing blocks to make it have clash (such as a well-pixelated block in a crowd of 1-color blocks) is just plaing laziness. Those are my personal thoughts only, though.
In that case, would Cheezburger Hillz be classified as good or bad?

Joke levels like Cheezburger Hillz are among a kind of joke level which revolves around Mario-based gameplay but based on non-gaming media. Other examples are things like Amateur Lands and Cool Hills, and the random Frozen references might be part of another group of joke levels themed on Frozen. A Frozen-themed level has yet to make an appearance but I've played Frozen Hills with a Valtteri cover and my CC8 entry has random Frozen references throughout, right down to the title. They are serious levels but a joke level on this hasn't been seen yet.

Thanks for reminding me of Amateur Lands. Deadfish is the lord of joke levels.

And ElTipsta as well, he makes joke levels as well but a lot of his serious levels have funny names.

Valtteri is a central feature around 80% of joke levels, and are made about him. Whether it has led Valtteri to make VoR I don't know.

Valtteri started it. It's a Finnish joke episode, and the team members have made joke levels in the past, so they know what to expect (for example there is an Amateur Lands level in the episode).
