OK yeah, that makes sense I guess. Sorry I didn't notice your early post, didn't mean to be antagonistic.

I believe custom levels shouldn't be posted here, as it leaves room for levels consisting of 100% enemy spam to be posted.

I have a couple actually:
-Pac-Man World: "King Galaxian" boss. Enemy spam, tractor beams, almost Touhou-like laser beams and a whole lotta rage.
-Crash Bandicoot 1: "Stormy Ascent" removed level. I've played this one and it truly is hard, not quite at the point of being impossible, but I can certainly see why it was removed.

Nah it wasn't antagonistic at all


Also custom levels are levels too, but enemy spam stuff isn't really hard. Especially since 99% of the time the creator puts a hidden block to skip everything or get a star.

stormy ascent is the harder version of the second hardest level in the game and one of my favorites. I hate the secret level in the game that is pitch black though.

When I was younger, I had a lot of trouble trying to finish this one boss in Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I also had a lot of trouble trying to fight this other boss, nearer to the end of the game.

aye, new hardest level: totem mimikyu from pokemon sun/moon. probably the hardest fight in the game, the fucker is fast and hits hard, gets a free hit at the start and can summon haunter and gengar. i used up a lot of money on this fight

Rail Canyon from Sonic Heroes. Or really any level from The Cotton Alley, last world of Super Meat Boy, could fit the bill as well.

Pretty much any GD demon level.

Has anyone mentioned World 7-8 from SMB3? It's the level filled with tricky jumps and Piranha Plants. This level really expects a lot out of you, like avoiding a Ptooie Plant while also avoiding fireballs from a Venus Fire Trap while said Ptooie Plant is advancing towards you and while you wait for the Venus Fire Trap to go back into its pipe so you can move on. Sure, there's a Star halfway through the level, but what good's that if it takes you through a minor section of the level?

During my last playthrough of SMB3 (on my Wii), I contemplated using the Cloud item to skip that level, but I decided I wanted to finish the game 100%. Before doing the level, I had maybe 30 lives, and that level left me with probably five or six lives left.

I don't know about hardest levels, but for the hardest video game boss, I would choose the Shadow Queen (Both phase 1 & 2) from Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.

I better grind up to levels 26-29 in my BP only run if I would stand a chance!

Super Mario World - Super Mario Advance 2
World: Donut Plains
Level: Donut Plains 2
Difficulty: A little bit hard,probably.
The stupid Swoopers can hit me even I jump over it. WTF buzy beetle is doing on my way ? Oh man, I don't wanna get crushed by those moving things. I can't even get the secret warp that leads to secret exit.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - Super Mario Advance 3
World: W2-1
Level: Visit Koopa and Para-Koopa
Difficulty: Hard
Freaked off the autoscrolling part, the physics of Yoshi's flutter jump is broken. I can almost get squished with those falling rocks. If I can get pass with it like speedrunning, it would make me happy and shouted "YESS, I HAVE BEAT THE AUTOSCROLLING B!#*!"lol.
