I've got the game downloading now... Didn't realize how excited I would be! I really appreciate that Nintendo is doing this, even in SMBX does it better in some ways.

Too much fun here! Just unlocked the sound effects. Also, the limits do not matter for me, people should just learn using what they have, i have "NONE" problems with what people like fanofsmbx, cedrik and Arceus said so far. (Just ignoring these comments because it's just annoying.) So i made some levels so far, and people seem to like it.

Just use what you have available then?

Yeah OK, so a level codes topic has been posted again. Please don't post your levels in this thread any more.

So not only did someone merge my topic with this one without any warning or any notification to me, but also deleted the list I had just organized of all the level codes.

But enough bitter JonTron jokes, I think I can find the list again and post it in the new thread. If not, I need someone to redo it for me.

I just found out something:
If magic from a Magikoopa touches the end-of-stage axe, it turns into an object, but will reappear.

Hey, hey, sorry about that. Definitely not my intention.
Here's your list from your original thread:

Now we can dig the complainments in the earth, and make a grave for it, R.I.P
Seriously, the complainments should be done by now.

You don't need slopes. You can get a lot of stars if you do this:
- Be from Japan
- Make a Parakoopa only jump level
- Make a trampoline level
- Make a plattform jump level
- Spam Lakitus
- Spam any kind of npc
- Be from Japan
- Make a automatic level

Currently most of the star ranking people are those who made automatic levels.
Thats sad isn't it?

What about, Post your level codes on the forum? Isn't THAT a good way to get stars?
Even if it's not, those are so true. But you're also forgetting a few more more:
-Have made a level before the game was offically released
-Be GameXplain
-Be any Youtuber that had the game before it was released
-Be fucking GameXplain

That doesn't really help either.

I feel like we need some sort of Community Contest for Mario Maker levels. It'd bring more attention to our own levels and give us something else to do with the editor.
Also, this is a semi-unrelated question, is there a way to set levels to be private, so that only people with the code can find it?

Something I originally wrote on reddit but feel like sharing here as well:
Don't hesitate to star a level if you think the creator tried to make a somewhat serious level.
Starring does literally no harm, and it helps people upload more levels. If you felt like a level was crafted with care and effort, star it. Even if you didn't quite enjoy it but you can see that the creator tried his best, star it. Imo the only levels you shouldn't star are spammy levels or bland levels.

Would be cool if more people would do that instead of starring all the automatic post so they stay in the big spotlight for a long time. I mean sure the creator may have tried his best but.. you can't really enjoy them after the first time.

Yeah, this post deserves a star. Stars help everybody and hurt no one.
