Also, wouldn't they have 4 walking frames and a unique standing frame (that is not used in walking) if they were like SMB1 Small Mario?

This is wrong.... The Mystery Mushroom that makes the costumes turns into the respective flight powerups for 3/world.

Um, no. Silly. Thundaga_T2 was talking about the Amiibos that can let you play with the character that is on the Amiibos. So if you place a Link Amiibo, it will let you play as link for an example. Thundaga_T2 wasn't talking about the Mystery Mushroom that turns you into a spring, or makes you have two hits, but still small Mario.

1) You're wrong.
2) Regardless, the costumes only work in the SMB1 theme.

I was watching Projared livestream Super Mario Maker and he confirmed you can change the date on your console to speed up the unlocking process in Mario Maker. He did it himself.

Oh and he also accidentally leaked a Starfox costume.

So would you have to set the date forward 9 times, or can you just set it forward 9 days and get everything in one go?

You need to do it nine times. Also, you need to play at least 5 min each 'day' in order to progress the next shipment

Spoiler: show
Apparently you can cheat through waiting for the next shipment by playing with your Wii U clock.

It's 2015 and time-based events can still be beaten effortlessly.

Yeah i think it's time to pre-order this game so i can get the code as soon it gets released.

I heard a lot of hate on it bc it can't do much as smbx but listen.. knowing nintendo they will update and add some more stuff anyway.

No matter tho i get it and thats it.

Agreed, though for something this special, I've pre-ordered two of the collector's edition (or whatever it's called) that come with the Amiibo and design book. One to play on the WiiU and one to keep mint and boxed for the future.

You really get all that?? My god America is lucky. All Canada gets is a fucking poster.

I'm thinking of trading in my PS3 to get Mario Maker.

And its all thanks to Nintendo of Canada. It makes me feel bad that they make the poor choices they do.

Nintendo does a poor job of handling America as well...Take a look at Europe's Club Nintendo as compared to NA's.

That's like one thing. On the other hand, NA gets the way better splatfests and most games a lot of time ahead, like Smash U.
