Haven't touched anything SMBX related in I don't know how long, but I've gotten to that point of having some fresh ideas again. Probably won't be touching the game itself again anytime soon, but I'm finding myself messing around with sprites again off and on. Might lead to bigger things in the future, but a break was needed. In any case, the graphic is a "floodlight car", something seen on trains way back in the day, more often seen during WWII then anything else. The idea with this graphic is to make a standard base that can be lengthened and have different objects placed on top to maximize its usage while keeping the tile count low.

In really, no, it's just a "Rainbow Road" standard tileset.

The colours on the top hat are super neat! I've made a sizeable top hat house myself (not based on Odyssey) earlier and sorta forgot that you had this going on, so it's fun to compare the different approaches I think:
(hgn i kinda want to post here more often but whenever I have new graphics they're already done before a WIP iteration can be shown...)

Yeah, that one looks really cool. It's definitely original. I'll use bgos for the windows of my hats since they'll be in random places just like odyssey.
Also it's not unheard of when someone posts something similar. At least we can see different takes on it.

This Tileset reminds me of those 16-bit JRPGs from the
SNES era imo

Uhhh not really pal. I don't like FF, I just wanted to make something cool for a final castle (called palaces in my episode)
And then I did a tileset to give the antagonist of Attack of the Darkness a reason to call his palace wonderful, clean and perfect
