I would like it if we don't make rash statements in this thread and have those get replied with more shitposting. Thank you.

The OP of this thread is basically asking for rash statements.

Touhou levels have good music sometimes. There are a lot of songs and remixes for them to choose from. I don't mind jokes when they are clever or silly.

For me , I get tired of joke levels already.

I mean , why the hell people do joke levels also for level contests , they don't earn anything by that.

Touhou levels are not shit and anyone can play it, also SMW Hacks have Touhou-styled , so I don't see any problem with them.

Let someone make whatever they want to make. Its none of your business what others enjoy to make, if you dislike it, you dislike it. End of story.

No one is talking about touhou levels, we're talking about "Touhou" levels

mat pls.

Everyone knows that its not a 2hu level unless its unreasonably hard because thats what 2hu is to the fandom.

as for joke levels, theyre joke levels, even if the joke is bad its still a joke level, if you dont like them, then dont play them. its not like someone holding a gun to your head to play them.

Joke levels are supposed to be funny, but only if they get the joke of what the level is about. Block Bollocks, for example, was a funny joke when us judges opened it up and played it for the first time, despite the crashes, but usually, most of the time, people submit joke levels when they feel harmed and hated by other members of the community as a way of getting backlash at them. Think about it: KoolKat was hated around CC5 for the flamewar and submitted a TAoK level. Quill was hated around CC6 for getting picked as judge and submitted Aisaeramonater. Knux was hated for deleting this forum around CC7 and submitted Block Bollocks.

That... Actually makes sense
But I'm pretty sure they have more reasons to submit one
Maybe

I don't really know why, but I think it's because I announced joke levels for the TGCA remake that joke levels are getting more and more popular. I just played Generic castle and the graphics raped my eyes. Right now, there are more joke levels in the Levels section than there have been.

No, I think I accidentally started that trend with Lock Lollipops.

Well to be honest, the moment I announced joke levels for the TGCA remake and when you posted Lock Lollipops came around the same time. Is that a coincidence that has resulted in the heavy influx of joke levels?

IDK, I do know that you announced joke levels for TGCA remake right after I made Lock Lollipops, so I thought you were copying my idea :P

I was long planning on having joke levels when I had just finished the second level, before announcing it. I'd already made the Amateur Lands level when I announced it, and had just started the clashy level. It was just the bad timing of the announcement, right after Lock Lollipops was posted, that has caused joke levels to rise up in popularity.
