Okay, why can't you install it? Different OS or it just won't permit you to.

There should be a version for Windows and Mac, so he probs has Linux

There's also a version for Linux on the website in the Downloads section, so that should help.

I also recommend Peazip, it works better on Linux and has a GUI if you find 7-Zip difficult to use on Linux.

Westretroman, it is because I am using a library computer, it doesn't allow zip files, but it allows zip folders.

Please don't provide links to sites like softonic, which is known to provide malware and contains a lot of illegitimate and sometimes illegal content. WinRAR can be downloaded legitimately, I believe as a trial or paid for, and there are many other legitimate free options
